For Hardwick-Day, Jim Miller assists colleges in the areas of interim admissions leadership, staff training and mentoring, and innovative programming.
Jim is President of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and has served on the Board of Directors since 2005. He has been very involved in public policy issues at the national level, receiving NACAC's award for Excellence in Government Relations. Jim has spoken and/or presented at meetings of the College Board, ACT, Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges & Universities, and state and regional NACAC affiliates in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vancouver, and Albuquerque.

Jim has 30 years of experience in admissions, financial aid and senior college management. At the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Jim served as Director of Enrollment Services and Director of Institutional Research. Prior to that he was at Northland College, where he served in several capacities including 15 years as Vice President and Dean of Student Development and Enrollment. During his years at Northland, enrollment reached record levels with students from 45 states and a number of other countries. Jim has a B.S. in business and economics from Northland College.
