Seth earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and Bachelor of Music degree in percussion performance from Lawrence University. This, he was once told, qualifies him to ring the bell on Wall Street. After graduation, he worked for performing arts organizations in the areas of programming, event coordination, and artist relations.
A former tour guide, he eagerly returned to Lawrence as an Assistant Director of Admissions, a role he enjoyed for three years. During his time at Lawrence Seth led a complete redesign of the admissions website, created a database to track inventory, developed a series of intelligent on-line registration forms, and helped to streamline the alumni recruitment program. Additionally, Seth recruited students from Wisconsin, lower Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas, as well as music students in his last year at Lawrence.
At Hardwick-Day, Seth will apply his economics and admissions background to the strategic issues private colleges face in a constantly changing marketplace. He will be assisting the other principals as they deliver financial aid optimizations and other assessments to clients and will help to coordinate follow-up work.
